 It's a Knockout!It's A Knockout August 31st 2008 The event proved to be an enormous success with all the competitiors entering into the spirit of the day with huge enthusiasm. Despite the weather spectators came to watch creating a great atmosphere. There was alot of activities going on throughout the day especially with the mini marathon and human size table football competition - both very amusing to watch!! The bar, cake stall, lamb roast and BBQ also went down very well. The competitive edge certainly came out in all the teams with everyone giving it there absolute all! The day was divided into 2 semi final rounds with the top 8 teams going through to the final in the afternoon. After lots of fun and many buckets of water later (and in my opinion a few attempts at cheating, not mentioning any names) the 'Trusted Recruits' triumphed. The day proved to be a perfect oppurtunity to raise funds and generate awareness for the foundation as well as being a great day for everyone! When sponsorship money has all been collected we hope to have raised approximatly £12000 - which is absolutley fantastic for the Foundations launch event! We would like to thank everyone who helped make the day such a success - paticularly H and his staff and Ross Offer. We have already had lots of interest for next year with teams wanting to get their revenge and steal the coveted 'It's A Knockout' trophy!
